Do you prefer using a desktop or laptop computer?
I prefer my desktop, but I'm posting this from my laptop. I really need to get on my desktop so that I can upload the avatar that I actually want. XD

I tend to use laptops- mostly because we don't have a desktop right now... But also because I like that I can bring my laptop with me if I go to writing events and whatnot, though it's rare for me to go to those anyway.

Laptops are certainly more convenient in that way. I just find desktops more comfortable to use.

Laptops for me. Honestly haven't owned a desktop in years. Granted I basically use laptops as a desktop as I rarely take em off my desk.

I have thought about getting a decent gaming laptop and using it in place of a desktop before. I don't do anything super demanding, so I could get a dock of some kind and connect monitors and peripherals to it. It would basically be a slightly less powerful desktop that uses less energy. XD

I don't really game or do anything super demanding on mine so they work fine for me in that way. Very rarely use some art stuff on there, but that's about it.

The only slight concern would be for video editing, where you can't possibly have enough processing power and memory; however, I don't do that often enough to justify getting the most powerful device available. XD

And I don't at all. XD Though it does look like fun sometimes.

When I say "video editing," I mean adjusting the sound levels or cutting out parts of a gameplay video. XD
