Most communities that I have been a member on usually don't appreciate having a member to register multiple accounts on their website. They always prefer for one user to have access to one account on the platform.

Although, I have seen some that don't have any problem with this as long as you obtain approval from the owner to create multiple accounts.

Do you allow multiple accounts on your forum?

I'm not entirely sure what the purpose would be for multiple accounts for a user.

I don't really see a need for it, but I also don't see any reason not to allow it if it's not being used for deceptive or harmful purposes.

I don’t have a rule against it per say, but not something I’d encourage probably.

Nope. Never felt the need honestly.

I've seen some people who use different accounts on promotion forums for advertising separate things. It's an interesting idea.

It depends on how reputable your main account is, I suppose.
