If you ever owned a forum before, think back to your first forum. What was the first forum you ever created? Is it still online or is it long gone? The first forum I ever made was a Pokemon rom hacking community, and I had no clue what I was doing. It was back in 2009, and the forum didn't last long. The only members I had were a few people I knew in real life, and one other person from the sonic community. It was hosted on Forumotion, using their phpBB 3 software.

I ran a silly little general discussion forum on phpBB 2.0.3 in 2003.

It was called "Chess Resources Forum".

I started it in 2004, and it it was reasonably successful (in that it got around 40,000 posts and stayed open for five years), but... nobody talked about chess!

I think it was one for a site I had dedicated to a story of mine. Don’t remember what forum software it was. Sometime after that I made my current forum.

Not exactly. I looked up when I got the domain and it was in 2015. Though I did come across an old button some months back. I totally forgot it had once been called Caludin-Dreams as well. So, guess it’s been around a while. I know it was like the second domain I got.

I think I remember the Caludin-Dreams name now that you mention it.

I honestly totally forgot about till I was browsing a friends old site and saw an old button for it.

Yikes... honestly I can't really remember. I have vague memory of messing around with forums and not really doing anything with them.

I think the first forum that I have decent memory of that did half way good was called ReliableAds. It was a forum similar to FroumAdvertiser back in the day or ForumPromotion.
