Do you tend to lean towards one brand of computer over another when the time comes to buy a new computer or do you just gravitate towards the cheaper option?

Nowadays I gravitate towards prices. I probably always have, honestly- but when I was younger, most of my computers were built by my dad xD

Haha! Totally fair, we'll see if I'm the same way with my boy when he's old enough for a proper desktop computer or if he even wants one.

Fair. I grew up before laptops were really a thing in the first place. In fact, one of the things i did with dad as a kid was build the computers with him sometimes. He also taught a computer class after school at my elementary school in 4th grade- first thing he had the kids do was take apart a computer and put it back together.
(I wasn't in that group, I was in scrapbooking down the hall)

I would kind of like to be able to offer something similar to kids that are interested I think. It's a good way to figure out if you really have an interest in the stuff lol

I used to mostly stick with Dells for PCs. Last one I got was an HP though. Also like Macs too.

Yeah, I feel like for the most part they're all the same, most have everything from dirt cheap budget friendly computers to stupidly high end, why am I spending this much money kind of computers.

I custom build my PCs, but I am thinking more and more about getting a pre-built. You often can't build much cheaper than the cost of a pre-built anymore; in some cases, it's even cheaper to go with a pre-built.

I don't really have a preference, I've used HP computers, Acer, Asus and Lenovo branded computers. I used to just stick with HP since my grandmother would get HP products and her computer always worked well.

My laptop is a Lenovo. It's pretty decent!
