Juicy Wizards

We all have favorite authors and genre (yes I'm going nuts today). But what are some books you've loved and cannot stop thinking about at times? Are they from those genre/authors, or maybe something surprising?

Here's my list:

Dragonlance Chronicles by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (I read at least 4 of the books from the overall world; High Fantasy I'd say)
Magic or Madness by Justine Larbalestier (I read the whole trilogy, which starts with a book of the same title, and it was great; Urban Fantasy)
Snow Flower and the Secret Fan by Lisa See (The only historical fiction I've ever enjoyed. It's about women in 19th century China. Goes into some detail about rough topics, like foot binding.)
The Symphony of Ages by Elizabeth Haydon (Technically multiple series put together. I read the first two series, so 5/9 of the books. High Fantasy.)
Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts (The first book in the Sign of Seven trilogy. I did start the second book but didn't finish it. It's pretty scary stuff. I'd call it Urban Fantasy/Mystery/Thriller, probably?)
