Oh it's definitely not this one, believe me I've been on forums that were WAAAAAY worse than this one could ever be!

What's the main advantage, in your opinion, that forums have over other communication platforms?

It's the fact that you can have a conversation with someone, over a broad range of subjects, and come back to that topic days, weeks, months later and pick up right where you left off! you don't get that on social media or chat platforms.
