Very similar but it's a different type of batter.

I have tried corn dogs before though and enjoy them.

What kind of batter is the other kind?
The only other thing i can think of is pigs in a blanket.

Maybe they're known as corn dogs too but they just taste completely different to American Corn Dogs.

Here pigs in a blanket is sausage wrapped in Bacon.

Really? That sounds neat! It's different for us. I grew up calling it pigs in a blanket when it's mini sausages wrapped in... I wanna say philo dough?
