I've only really used them, or tried, once. I haven't really been in a position to try and use them again.

From my understanding, making sure it isn't using particleboard is a good first step. Then we recently discovered that if parts of the frame are made up of steel...or whatever the metal was in the one we just bought...are usually of good build quality.

We will find out soon enough though we did a custom order on fabric on the couch so it will take a little longer than usual for it to get here.
