The student has problems regulating their emotions. It's pretty common among students with certain disabilities.

Wow, I know the special ed classes I was in were never to that extant. But I also was like on the edge of needing them.

But I can imagine. My sister works with people with disabilities and she used to tell tales of what happened.

True, that does happen... I went to specialty schools for kids with mental health issues and related disabilities. Some were pretty difficult, but most were rather mild like me. The more toxic kids were mostly toxic to each other more than the teachers. xD
