It was kind of cool to have everything up high and out of my kids' reach.

that doesn't work for my kid he's nearly half my height and I'm 6ft xD

It wouldn't work for my daughter, but I think she'd be more likely to leave my stuff alone than my other kids who are still small enough. XD

Ah yes, the kids that have developed a sense of "this is Dad's stuff so I should leave it alone" vs "this is Dad's stuff...what's he got here?" xD
