I always found it confusing when services like game servers used Discord as their main communication platform. Imagine trying to find an old guide on how to do something in-game on a Discord server.

True, I think there's decent ways of going about it with read only channels but could still be difficult.

The new "threads" feature makes it slightly easier, but it's still cumbersome for browsing.
