The Most Annoying Hold Music (Felt Like a Meme to Me)

I once heard this song while on hold with a medical provider: It's literally called "I'm on Hold" by Alex Cornell, and is about- you guessed it- being on hold. I am not sure where to post about this, but it came up elsewhere earlier, so I wanted to ask you guys...

Try having to listen to it while actually on hold... on repeat... many times. xD

I can see that being annoying. It's still better than other hold music that I've heard.

True. It's also better than no hold music. You'd be amazed how evil that is.

I can't imagine a worse fate than having to sit and listen to my own thoughts while waiting for someone to pick up my call.

It's fun because someone will put me on hold and then there's no sound and I just wonder if they hung up on me.

I've also experienced having to listen to a voice repeat, "Please be patient. We will answer your call as soon as possible" on a loop. XD

Oh I have had to deal with that plenty, but at least then someone reminds you you're on hold and not make you wonder "did they hang up on me?" xD
