Do you prefer to use reactions over commenting on something if suitable?
What reaction would you say you use most often?

Re: Reactions
I usually just default to "like." Sometimes it's easier to leave a reaction than comment on something.

Re: Reactions
Yeah, while I don't love social media...part of me feels like bringing reactions into forums was something main stream social media has added.
I say this because I don't seem to recall a point in time were forums existed with a react function until post social media like Facebook.

Re: Reactions
They had something similar in terms of "karma" or "reputation," but it's definitely a different spin on it.

Re: Reactions
I think that the inherent issue was the name. "Reputation" implies that a user is trustworthy, though having a high reputation amount didn't necessarily mean that.

Re: Reactions
It depends on the content. Most of the time I just like posts, but if I see someone is having a rough day and are ranting I'll react with the care reaction to let them know I'm hoping they have a better day. If it's something I think is cool or really like, it'll get a heart reaction.
