It does have some quirks, but it works well overall. I would say that I like Firefox a bit better in terms of its features and customizability, but Chromium-based browsers are just so much better for compatibility reasons.

I'm not fully sure if Firefox would work well on my computer- I'd have to do some research. I might go do some research on general browser recommendations for fun now... xD

I think Firefox works well on Mac. However, many sites (including some fairly mainstream sites like Twitch) have weird compatibility issues with Firefox. Most seem to expect a Chromium-based browser, especially considering the fact that Microsoft Edge is based on Chromium now as well. Such is life.

Fun fact, I looked up a list of the best browsers for Mac. Vivaldi came up first on the list, and the one that comes with the freaking machine was in the direct middle of the 7 options. It went:

-Vivaldi
-Brave (hey, now I REALLY need it!)
-Chrome
-Safari
-Firefox
-Opera
-Edge

It also notes reasons for them. For example, Vivaldi was noted for its high customization and security with a lot of features, while Brave was mentioned as being the most secure, efficient and simple to use. Safari, which comes with it, was noted for being lightweight and using less RAM than other browsers.

It seems like Safari peaked years ago and is sort of forgotten now. XD

I have downloaded Brave. I have opened it and barely started using it. I found out about their rewards thing and got confused trying to make an account for it. I gave up on that. I should really try using the browser itself now.

I've never really used the rewards. Crypto seems a bit gimmicky to me. XD

I mostly use either Safari, Opera, or Microsoft Edge.

I used Opera for a long time before I switched to Brave. The browser itself has some really good features, but they're not the greatest when it comes to privacy.

Currently using OperaGX. I like the little widgets for things like Messenger, it makes answering messages quicker/easier and more convenient.
