Metric vs. Imperial

I was talking about this with a friend today, but I was curious about others thoughts:

Do you prefer using the metric system or imperial measurements usually? I personally tend to use imperial because I grew up with it, but I don't dislike metric- in fact, sometimes I like it better (like when I want to feel taller than I am, centimeters are a bigger number than inches). I'm fine using either for most things, but I tend to need a calculator. But... I know some people despite one or the other for some reason.

I think metric makes more sense. However, having learned imperial all my life, it is difficult to use the metric system.
