Anime Newbie

Post by TechWiz18 »

I've really only watched the entirety of one Anime...and now I can't even think of the name of it  I am always open to new shows though.

Do you have any recommendations for someone who doesn't generally watch Anime?
I bet you can't see me now!

I always recommend Sailor Moon though if you’re not into magical girl stuff probably wouldn’t be your thing.

Other then that Slayers. It’s older, but such a good fantasy anime. Probably one of my favorites though not as well known these days. Other then that Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Trigun.

^ All of the above!

Dragon Ball, DragonBall Z and DragonBall Super are all good gateway anime, I'd suggest Bleach, but that's like a three year mission to get through, and if you want something new, I'm super wrapped up in Made in Abyss, love it! On the older side there's also Megazone 23, Irresponsible Captain Tylor and Magic Knight Rayearth to name a few.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I will probably pass on Sailor Moon, I saw some when I was but a wee child I think just because it was on TV.

I will look into those others, I'm curious how man of those are on Hulu.

I do have Dragon Ball on my watch list on Hulu, I enjoyed the show some growing up. Bleach was a big deal with some of my friends growing up so maybe now is the time to figure out the hype :joy:

I appreciate the suggestions I'll have to look into them at some point.
