How often do you buy a new mobile device?

I'm a simple man, I will buy a new phone when my current one dies. Or if it starts lagging too much that it wouldn't be comfortable to use it. That's usually once every four years.

I try to do so as little as possible. However, planned obsolescence makes it difficult to wait more than a couple of years before upgrading your phone.

Only when I have to, which often ends up being every 4 years or so.

My current one is 2.5 years old.
