When you're buying a new PC, do you buy a pre-built one or do you prefer building it yourself?
I like to choose the parts that I'm going to use myself. It gives me much more value for my money, and I can customize it to fit my needs perfectly.

Re: Pre-built or custom built?
I prefer custom-built desktops. That being said, I think that I am going to switch to a laptop for primary use at some point in the foreseeable future. I will get a docking station so that I can use it with larger displays, a keyboard, and a mouse whenever I feel like doing that.

Re: Pre-built or custom built?
Always custom, for sure. I like to know what's what and not have to deal with strange proprietary parts or bloatware in the OS
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
