Programming

Post by TechWiz18 »

Have you ever tried to learn a programming language?

I have tried to learn Java a few times but I always seem to start and not get through the course I bought ages ago.

I am hoping to get one of my computers up and running to go through the course with ... we'll see if I am successful :P the ultimate goal is to create Minecraft plugins but maybe I'll just know how to program java lol
I bet you can't see me now!

I learned some Java through a class I took when I was in college. I have really been thinking about trying to learn programming. I probably would learn something like C++ or C# over Java, though.

That's fair, from my understanding Java is supposedly a decent language to start off with. Though, even if it isn't true I have an end game for Minecraft plugins sooooo xD

Thought I've had this course for years...I keep having to start over :persevere:

I think that it's also easier to pick up other object-oriented languages after you've already learned one, so you could learn Java and then learn others relatively quickly as well.

I was a Java programmer before I gave it up to look after my mother, so yep, I learned programming :).

Java's a decent language to start with, for sure, but when I get back to programming I'd like to learn Python, Ruby, golang, things like that.
This is a signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
