Probably my favorite is the original Roseanne.

Same! It's one of the few sitcoms that was relatable for people who didn't fit the middle- to upper-class mold.

Yeah, and it wasn’t overly like….cant think of the right word but wasn’t like over the top with like lessons and stuff.

Yeah. There were definitely lessons, but it wasn't contrived like some other sitcoms.

Yeah I always found those too cheesy to be honest. Even if otherwise they were good shows.
