It is pretty much the exact same, it's got its special quirks and stuff but at this point Microsoft has been doing a decent job of polishing it and adding features. I still prefer running my servers on Java and then adding Bedrock compatibility.

I never really gotten into Minecraft. My nephews really like the game. Its on sale right now on the xbox store so im thinking i might get it to see all the hype about it
