I say "pop." That's the more common way to refer to soft drinks around here.

I only refer to them as soda. I just feel weird saying anything other than soda. 
Apparently it used to be more popular to use the word pop where I live, but that changed as the years went on and most people just say soda. Some people call every soda coke though. :V

I live in Michigan and everyone calls it pop. Having said that October will be 3 years since I had a pop. I am super proud of myself for going so long without pop and I don't ever plan on drinking it again for the rest of my life.
