In game online chats

Do you ever participate in the in-game chats in-game? For me it depends on the game and how well moderated the chat is

I think you kind of said it. It depends on the level of moderation that is practiced in said game. In some games, I wish you could disable the chat completely.

I have issues with some games being weird about turning off Voice Chat...i can at least somewhat ignore the chat box but voice chat is a little hard to ignore if you can't get it to turn off xD

I rarely participate in voice chat online nowadays and I don't tend to hear as many people in the game chat as I used to many years ago.

I don't think I have spoken in-game chat for over 8 years now as never felt I needed to, either being in the party chat with friends or playing with family who are in the same room as me.
